Become a New PDMP Member Now And Get Two Months for Free
Bellefonte, PA – November is one of the best times to become a new member of the Professional Dairy Managers of Pennsylvania because a dues payment made now will roll-over into membership for all 12 months of 2010 providing two bonus months of free benefits.
President Rod Hissong announced this special offer during the group’s annual membership meeting on November 5 saying: “In these hard economic times it is more important than ever for dairy producers to establish a strong front and to be heard with a united and forceful voice.” He noted that dairy producers can become part of this network of progressive, positive-minded dairy producers and agribusiness leaders for as little as $100.
“PDMP is the only organization in Pennsylvania that is positioned to have a vocal and hard hitting voice on behalf of dairy producers,” points out Executive Director Alan Novak, who is leading the effort to educate elected officials about the dairy industry and its current situation. He said, “Through an increasing advocacy role, PDMP is becoming recognized locally, statewide and nationally as the representative of the producers’ voice and as the go-to organization for information about issues that affect the dairy farmer’s daily operations.”
Responsible and forward thinking dairy producers are members of PDMP because they understand that the organization gains stature with government leaders when it represents a broad base within the dairy farm constituency. While the three tiers of annual dues are based on herd size, the motivation of the group is to sustain the industry so that farms of all sizes can prosper.
Businesses that rely the industry for sales also become PDMP members because their future is tied to the prosperity of their individual dairy farm customers.
For more information on the benefits of membership or to obtain a membership application email info@pdmp.org or call toll free 877-326-5993. Membership applications for both producer and associate members are also available on the website at www.pdmp.org.
