Professional Dairy Managers
Offer Discount to Members Who Attend 2006 Pa Dairy Summit
The
Professional Dairy Managers of Pennsylvania (PDMP) will send
a $50 rebate check to each member farm which sponsors an
employee for the 2006 PA Dairy Summit on February 1 and 2
at the Lancaster Host Resort and Conference Center, Lancaster,
PA at the full registration fee of $175.
The
rebate offer will also be extended to anyone who attends
the Summit and joins PDMP before the end of February 2006.
Combined with a rebate on dues currently available courtesy
of AgChoice Farm Credit and MidAtlantic Farm Credit, farms
with 250 cows or less will essentially receive their first
year of PDMP membership for free. Larger farms will also
see a substantial discount in dues if they join in conjunction
with the Dairy Summit.
The Summit’s theme is “Passion, Progress and
Profit,” and it is hosted jointly by the Pennsylvania
Dairy Stakeholders and the Professional Dairy Managers of
Pennsylvania (PDMP). Supporting partners are Penn State Dairy
Alliance, The Center for Dairy Excellence, and the Pennsylvania
Department of Agriculture. It is designed to provide practical
and timely information for the Commonwealth’s 9,000
dairy producers and dairy industry leaders.
In
addition to exceptional speakers, breakout sessions will
offer practical information on topics ranging from different
business models, to cow comfort, nutrient management and
reproduction management. There will also be over 60 exhibitors
to discuss their services.
There
is still time to register and take advantage of this opportunity
to attend the state’s premier dairy educational event
while saving. You can view the complete program and
get registration information at http://www.pdmp.org/dairySummit/index.html,
or by calling 814-238-2893.
