Hosted by PDMP & Penn State Dairy Alliance

PDMP has joined with the Pennsylvania Dairy Stakeholders to co-host the two-day Pennsylvania Dairy Summit each February. This is the Commonwealth's premier dairy event that brings together all segments of the industry with a focus on the educational needs of the state's 9,000 plus dairy producers.

PDMP offers Professional Development Meetings in June, August and November that typically include tours of member farms, informational speakers and discussion of issues. The meetings are an opportunity for producers to share and analyze the information related to each other's farms. Members benefit from interaction with other producers and agribusiness persons. Professional Development Meetings usually begin at 9:00 am and adjourn at 3:00 pm.

Once a year PDMP also co-sponsors an out-of-state tour with the Penn State Dairy Alliance. The purpose of the tour is to visit other progressive producers to gather and share ideas and philosophies. The out-of-state tours give producers an opportunity to gain insight into how other successful operations function.
